The camera works fine by setting the culling height in the crouch, aiming, and strafing states, but no matter what number I set it to in the default state the camera clips into the player mesh right at the center. I've tried changing the numbers in the culling height in the default state from -10 all the way up to 10 and it doesn't change at all.
My clip plane margin is 2 and my check height radius is 2.

Try lowering the Clipping Planes near value of your camera to something like 0.1, if that doesn't work you can always try our culling fade solution (check documentation)

I think i know the problem... im not sure yet though... When i created my Mesh i used a backface culling with a double that i recalcualted the normals of it inside (an option in Blender) Then when i putted it in unity it dissapeared on different angles.i took down that double and it worked fine! i hope i helped :D
