Do you have any advice on how to decrease the range for the lock on? It seems that if I use the lock on feature, which is awesome, it locks on to enemies that are really far away and the controls become wonky. I would only want to have the lock on work if alive creatures are about 12 feet away, Any thoughts? This product is really great, by the way.

Is it really locked onto some enemy or is the camera just on strafing state?
The lock on uses the size of the Aim canvas not real distances. If you press your button for the lock on and there is nothing to lock on, the camera state is changing to "Strafe"
This should be prevented by checking if there's something to lock on. If lock on fails - no Camera State change. Also "out of lock on" e.g. you kill a enemy and when there are no more lock on's to find, camera state have to change back to normal.
I think this is one for the Invector Guys ;-)

Really simple, just select your 3rdPerson Camera in the hierarchy and at the component LockOn you can change the value of the Range, the default is 10

That is what I love about this product. The more I use it, the more I uncover these little gems that allow me to really optimize the experience. Yes, that totally worked. Within the 3rdpersoncamera, within the "V lock on target control", I changed the range to be smaller, it was 15 for some reason. It is good to have a small value for this, because if it is too large, it will lock onto an enemy far away, and the player will face the locked on target. Thank you!
