Hey guys So, we receive a few suggestions by posts, comments on youtube and even emails about if we have a Patreon, and if not, we should create one because there are some of you out there that already purchase our assets and wants to continue to show support in our work. At first I do not like the idea of ' rewards' for those patrons, because we're very open to communication with everybody, even those who didn't purchase the template I still answer your emails, questions, suggestions, I give tips, etc... And honestly I don't know what else we can offer besides our assets, so basically there is no special treatment, you will continue to receive our fast support and open line directly with us. (but hey if there is any suggestions about rewards, feel free to post )We already receive a few donations before and we really appreciate that, but if you want to became a 'patron' now here it is: [INVECTOR PATREON]Cheers, ~Teles

As patron rewards you could always use something that will not take functionality from the system, like more character models, new particle effects ready for the system or even small game examples made with the system.

You can make tutorials about coding , and you can code patreon requests like inventory etc.. For example if i need a FPS camera, or vehicle control system etc... at the end you give the code to the patreons only and later you make it a unity product to sell in the asset store . This way product will be always polished and improved in the way we need.

My feeling is you should avoid anything that will remove dev time from your core product. A lot of these ideas may not remove functionality from your system, but if for example (as this is a small team I think) you need to take a programmer or designer off the upcoming shooter project to make a new character model or a tutorial, don't do that now. Eventually you may reach a point where you've done as much as you want on your core project and those people have some free time - then maybe consider doing something like that then. Or maybe some day you're just sick of programming and need a break, might be time to work on something different for a short while - like a tutorial or video or something.
Frankly if you guys feel you need more funds to sustain while working on your next release, I'd rather buy an early beta or even alpha release on the asset store, rather than "buy" reward extras by donating. I have been burned buying beta assets before of course, but I trust you guys.

It's that some of you requested a patreon so we listen Right now the development is focus 100% on the Shooter project, so we will not be doing any fancy reward for the Patreon. The beta is a interesting concept that I was thinking about these days, maybe I will create a poll and see what you guys think.

My thoughts, and i only speak for me, but I think it should be used to reward the product, IE you guys who made it. I'm not interested in you guys stopping what your doing and working on a feature that 10% of us want. I think you guys do an amazing job at helping us out when we get stuck and increasing the value of the product with new features everyone likes, so let patron reflect that. I feel that patron is usually used as an impromptu free lance service, to get those that donate more, get the features they want. But that as a whole devalues the product, because the cost is no longer the product, it's the cost of the product + how much you donate. I cheapens the product and what you would of gotten if the system was never in place.
TLDR: I like the idea of being able to support your work, i hate the idea of letting donations change the direction of the product.

I agree shadex , or maybe discounts on your products. You mean their products? I'm not with the team, i'm just a customer I'm cool with that as well. It's just... we've all seen it happen with games, were the people supporting the game ask for to much, or stupid things that only they care about, and because the dev's feel they owe them, try to include everything. Then the game becomes vaporware. I'm a firm believer in most things creative, two many cooks spoil the 3rd person soup.
