Thank you Mind sharing the ragdoll setting on the AI ? Btw ai vs ai arena scene works without issues. Are you running this on 2018.2 ? I checked on 2018.1

Set up a generic AI . One docile, the other aggressive.

Thank you Don't you think there is something wrong when the console is screaming at you with warnings? The vDamageReceiver is missing from each Ragdoll body member, so it will never receive any damage.

In this one case yes warning in the other 25 different ways I've tried to get it to work some had warning but most had no warnings or errors and nice customer service I got to say. Not one time have you offered to help in any way just direct me to docs and assume I didn't read them and now assume I haven't tried 10 different models with different settings trying to troubleshoot this myself.

To be honest, I don't know what more I can say to help you The documentation has everything you need to know about dealing with or receiving damage and you can always send me the project so I can take a look if you want, but the way I see it, it's definitely the missing DamageReceiver or you didn't set up the layers correct.

No warnings and no errors and no console screaming at me. Layers and tags set correctly.

Ok I got it to work kind of by setting half of of the ai tags to companion ai and the other half to enemy. Shooter Ai can not damage anything using the same tag. It's not ideal (and not mentioned anywhere in docs or tutorials) because I would like to have everyone attacking everyone plus the melee ai can do it.

After checking the example scene "AI_Action" , I found it's a little bit complicated that you have to use lots of events to organize the behavior process and jumping back and forth between different scripts .I think it will be much better if all this setting can be done in the FSM behavior window , any plan in future update?

The right way in any sense for you to create factions is to tag them into different groups, it's kind of obvious to be honest. If you look at all examples, in the arena or even the AI examples scene where the two red melee AI go at each other, you'd have noticed the tags. I don't know about Invector guys but I purely thought the tags were sorted because it's you know, a bit obvious Didn't even bother to check because usually when bullets don't hit, it's something sniffy about the ragdoll setup.

Yes exactly the response I was expecting well done sir my attitude only got bad when the assumption was made that I didn't understand how things work and didn't do my homework. Maybe go back and read from the beginning. All that the developers had to say from the beginning Is the shooter ai can't damage anything using the same tag they are problem solve.
