I always say to new users that instead of starting your first project trying to create a Multiplayer, Survival, Crafting or a Battle Royale kind of game... to start small, try recreating a simple game that you like... and even though you choose a very hard game to recreate, I bet you have learned a lot from this experience This is really cool, can't wait to see what you're going to do next ;)

People like to install unity and thanks to unity dumbos promoting "no coding only visual scripting yay, makes all the games in the world" propoganda, people jump into make the most complex game in the world. Making something simple first, prototyping something simple first has at least helped me understanding the realties of developing alone as an indie and create my own workflow. I am still learning.

Yes you are right...the experience helped learn a lot about different aspects of unity & game dev in general...animation, events, lighting, occlusion culling, profiling & optimization! The build version runs at almost 60fps, which was quite hard to achieve. I felt if i can try and achieve even 50% of what a million dollar studio with 100s of employees can do...in a short time with limited resources, I could perhaps follow my passion in game development on a serious level. And your asset has helped me a lot in understanding c# scripting and breakdown of various features of the asset...

Very True tharindu...i started off with the basic unity tutorials to get a basic idea...but then came along Invector's asset, and it just catapulted me off with so many features and options to play around with... and I was blown away with GOW, and rest is history

Where did you get your characters? And monsters? They look good.
Very nice job, by the way, in every regard.
Kudos.

Woah this is truly amazing.
I Like how the character returns his sword to his back.
Love the lighting and atmosphere, the birds help with the overall feel. The special effects are perfect for the enemies and that knight at the end makes a good end of showcase boss.
And all done in the last 3-4 months. Thats truly inspiration for me. Well Done, hope to see more.

Hi colpolstudios... thank you so much for your appreciation! I missed this message...thats why the delayed reply. I tried to recreate as much as possible with the assets available with me.. I was quite surprised by how much I could achieve with invector's asset... now with all the amazing updates and add-ons, the possibilities are endless :D
