Hey Invector guys whats up! in the asset forum you wrote: Melee Combat v1.4 (with new equip/handle items, new demo scene, v-bot 2.0, new animator controller)
when you say new equip/handle items will that include a equip/unequip? like pick up a sword, equip, and when unequip it will snap to a alternate handler, like back or waist.
or will it still work as it does now more or less, where you can pick up and drop, but cant pick up and keep?
im only asking because I was thinking about trying a generic equip/unequip add-on that would allow weapon and shield to be unequipped (mounted on dummy objects)
but if you have something like this in new update I will just hold off for now.

p.s. Im not talking about an inventory system btw, merely a equip weapon.shield/ unequip same weapon/shield.

We're trying to make the equips easy to use with other systems, like inventories by simplifying the methods of pickup, equip, unequip, drop, etc... v1.4 will bring a Inventory Example similar to dark souls, you can pick up the item, open the Inventory window to check the item description, use, drop, and a Equipment window with slots so that you can equip weapons and stuff. It will be totally modular and open, so you can customize or see how the methods works to use on your own system. We also will add Quickslots to change quickly change weapons or itens, it will be pretty awesome You can use to create inventory styles for rpg, mmorpg, shooter, etc... there is many possibilities. I'm sure that you guys will like, it will worth the while

Yes it was gonna be 1.4 but Invector updated so much that it became 2.0
