From what I can tell, the Synty POLYGON Characters appear to be rigged differently than the VBOT. When trying to setup my character I've noticed that his thumb on his right hand appears to be up kind of high, where on the VBOT wraps perfectly around the gun and is not high at all. How did you resolve that issue or did you have it?

Synty Characters have only three fingers & bones if i remember right. Editing the Animation is one solution.

Yeah, but the fingers seem fine it's the thumb. From what I can tell it looks like there is an extra bone in the thumb on the Synty Characters that caused the issue. Thanks for checking on it.

Yep I have the same issue with this big thumb.. It is a bit annoying especially with the Shooter Weapons... As well I have some issues with the headtracking of the player.. it's head always go wrong on each axis..

Yeah it's an issue with the skeleton for synty and the one for the vbot. But the anims are meant to be placeholder anyway, so really the solution is a purpose built animation package for synty models.

As well I have some issues with the headtracking of the player.. it's head always go wrong on each axis.. You can probably fix this issue by going to the Headtrack Inspector and change the UpDownAxis, the default is X:1 Y:0 Z:0, remove the 1 from the X and put into the Y or Z, then hit play and look up/down, it should follow the camera.

Thanks I have tried to set the one on each axis but the head always goes wrong with this Polygon character. It is the Ninja from the Samurai Pack.. I have tried as well few other combinations but still doesnt go properly up and down. Do you think that comes from the rig?

It's very likely to be a rig issue, you can try re-rig using Mixamo's auto rig tool

At least maybe that could solve the thumb position as well.. I will try some other Synty characters too see if they have all the same rig..

Having almost every synty pack with characters i can tell you that they do in fact share the same rig.

I hope that the auto rig will work on mixamo with the Synty characters.. if not they are almost not usable with this rig, when using shooting weapons.. biggest issue is really this headtracking.. some people complained as well in the reviews of their packs.. that the rigs are lil messy..

Yeah I started noticing the head issue as well when looking down, their head turns to the left. Did the re-rig work for you?
