**update** During my mental vacation from coding/scripting I have returned to my roots of modeling and took care of some of the vehicles that really bothered me with their dullness... Example the Jeep has been remodeled to have the ability to turn the top off/on along with other features... Making it more custized to personal liking... Doing this has made it possible to have many versions of a vehicle using only one model... Also I have been making and testing new models as well... And so far so good...

Hi sjl so the mental vacation has done you good :-) Well I am convinced that if we keep the forum alive, it will also add someone else who wants to improve this beautiful add on. I thank the authors because they have done a good job and a base for those who want to improve it.

Hi sjl do you know if it is the same script that commands the closing of the doors of the various vehicles? because I noticed that the door of the jeep closes much more slowly than that of the helicopter. If I could slow down even the helicopter would be more real.

If I could slow down even the helicopter would be more real. It should be the animation of the door the scripts just tell when to activate the animation... From my previous running through the scripts and all the animation is the same animation the only particular differences are the sit and seat point rights and distances... If too far it's like causing the player to teleport from one point to another... Such as the monster truck helecopter and boat... They to my knowledge have the highest seat points so I personally at this time do believe what causes the issue your referencing is due to end of animation time.. causing the rushed door closing... I would think looking into the animators and sit and seat points and possibly adjusting start and end times but would start at sit points first IN A TEST PROJECT NOT YOUR ACTUAL GAME PROJECT. Also to answer a previous question about the destroy object in the door... That is for the door hinge and Ridgid body of the door when the player enters the vehicle those objects are destroyed to keep the door flying open when you drive and are recreated once the player exit the vehicle. Sorry for the late response I been doing double shifts at work..

Real life and their own projects affects the person's ability to maintain their add-ons.. but it's rather kind of those who developed and shared the add-ons instead of keeping them to their selves... In the case for this add-on it was originally designed for few previous updates ago.. also the version of unity used as well affects the add-on as well... That's where we all have to step up and update it on our own once it's abandoned for what ever the reason my be..

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object Invector.CharacterController.v_car_camera_control.LateUpdate () (at Assets/VehiclesAddOn/Core Files/scripts/InvectorPlayer/v_car_camera_control.cs:42)
anybody know whats causing this?

Did you change all the name states to the version of inventor your using???

I found the fixes for the code, everything's working perfect! That's great glad to hear that... I'm still working on adding and testing new cars so far so good... Just be aware the glider is a problem child the helicopter as animation timing issues... I already have a simple fix for the character axis changing when exiting vehicles on an incline and fixed the camera scripts not allowing to climb ladders properly and a few other things hopefully if all goes well with the new cars I'm adding into it I might be able to release soon but, with any other issues after that will be up to the community to fix...
