Good evening, team!
My player and npc models are short, chibi style characters, and while I'm having great fun playing with the Melee System, I'm running into a bit of a problem. When weapon attack animations clip into the ground, they act like they have hit a successfully defending npc, and it also breaks the animation. Now, I can create custom animations to avoid this (which I'm terrible at!), or I could make the weapons really short to avoid this problem (which is what I'm doing now, but it makes the combat really unsatisfying, because now you have to be standing basically on top of the npc to hit him...).
Is there some way that I can tell my weapons to just ignore the ground layer or the terrain tag or something?
Thanks!

You can disable the recoil using the bool shown below, or you could change the layer.

Aha! I knew there was some elegant way to do this. I was digging through the OnTriggerEnter code...
Thanks!

No problem mate! I think this option is on the default actions as well so like punching and kicking, if your having troubles with those too.
