Will this work with unity 2018.4? Or is this meant for unity 2019? Running into a lot of errors with 2018.4

It was being built in 2019 to future proof it. I havent tried it in 2018 but jump in the discord and share screens of your console to show me the errors. We are putting the finishing touches on our skill check system and I am building the demo scene that I will use for the tutorials. I expect to have version 1.0 released by the weekend along side a video guide to setting up a basic demo. edit: uberwiggett.itch.io/uberrpg-stats-addon-for-invector version 1 released!

Replicate what Evila did Uber...Please and thanks. No. in other news; I had to take the package down for a bit as I realised it had a broken function that prevented builds. It's now reuploaded and has been tested to working order on builds. I have also given it a quick test with the multiplayer addon but ran into some issues but I rushed it and didn't follow the video from wesley, will attack it again this weekend after I finish the tutorial videos for the rpg addon. It is currently feature complete with an rpg stats systen that you can tailor to your needs, a damage system that utilises your stats, and a skill test system to simulate locked doors or traps that require skills to pass. Going forward I will work towards compatibility with the multiplayer addon, as well as a version with a different damage calculation as this current one is a bit unbalanced. Note, that you can alter the equations yourselves by editing the scripts. My video on the scripts points out where and how to do this. After this I may experiment with an ability system to add to it, however deoending on the complexity and my new project this may or may not eventuate in the free version.

GOOD WORK. Hopefully try to integrate into project this week. Are there any problems trying to add this to an existing project?

Shouldn't be. Some issues if you are using melee only package and might have to remove a script define but I went through the code and tried to fix it so it wont be to difficult but i haven't rigorously tested it. Just make sure you check out the setup video as it tells you what enums to edit, someone had some difficulties with this but the video explains it. Currently the equations don't scale well at all, they work correctly but when you attack someone who isn't lower level it is really difficult. This is probably why bethesda uses level scaling Also the stats relationship with skills is 50/50 which works but isn't an ideal system. But the point of this asset isn't to give you a game ready kit out, but to give you the ability to implement skills that affect the invector controller. I am currently having trouble with some basic implementation of function calls so my videos havent come out yet. Once I get this ondeath call issue solved I will look at possibly implementing an experimental spell system . However beyond that I won't be doing any more to the kit as I will be busy with work and using my spare time to focus on a crowdfunded project.

Hi UberWiggett, I having a issue with this when i created a character and placed the scripts that was in told in your tutorial then when i played the game the player walks incredibly slow but does not mess with the animation. Thanks. Had the same problem here. Look closely at the prefabs and such are the scripts unassigned? I am having a problem with the scripts being unassigned, but the compiled correctly. I was using unity 2018.4.14.f1
