I'm enjoying melee combat template. Now I want to make the attack from running condition special and separate from normal attack. change AttackID? create new state? What kind of method is there?

I'm enjoying melee combat template. Now I want to make the attack from running condition special and separate from normal attack. change AttackID? create new state? What kind of method is there? Just make an animation state with either weak or heavy attack as the trigger condition and add the condition "InputMagnitude" and make sure it's greater then 1. put it in the fullbody layer, that will make it over-ride attacks only when your running at full speed.
You can either put this attack in an attackID (making it attackID specific) or just leave it in the root of fullbody if you want the same animation to be used for everything

Thank you so much! It works well by making new animation state and trigger condition. photo hosting sitesDon't forget to add the WeakAttack Trigger. It will allow you to a different sprint attack for StrongAttack (if you put in the StrongAttack AttackID.
