I've been trying to create a door that can be damaged and then on death it opens. I've added the v standard character script to the door along with adding an animator and animations but it wont work. every time my character hits it he has a reaction id. this could be because of the box collision if any one has any suggestions let me know.

their are a few things to know,
a) use vCharacterStandalone b) set layer and tag to that of a enemy
if you run into any other problems let me know, Ill look into the matter further.(create a script for you.)

yea i played around with that earlier but still couldn't get it to work right. i'll still play around with it i'll keep you updated on my progression. in the meantime i think it's time for me to do another video and show off the progression.

So I ended up fooling around with this, I think I made a pretty bad ass script for it and other things. Ill add it to the addon section, under the label destructible objects. I Have two basic setups for it destruct or open, destruct will turn off the main game object and open will trigger a bool on the anim to open the door. These can be paired up with the events above to destruct particles or sounds using the ondeath method. I have a two samples in the asset, that is free This can be improved to your liking.
