Hi guys, I have small issue though, when I hit enemy with melee combat (sprint attack), enemy will always run dead animation instead of custom hit animation. what did I miss? my intention is I try to make enemy knockback a bit using special attack . so, custom animation should run as I set the reaction ID equals to 2

Hey Ammar! (First my english is not perfect!)
That's not a dead animation, its actually the ai entering the ragdoll state. Inside your Player Controller Animator, look inside your Attack animations. In the Behaviour componnent "Melee Attack Control", verify if "Active Ragdoll" is checked. Uncheck it if it is, and under "Reaction ID", replace base value "0" to "1". Id Reaction one is the Fullbody reaction, unless you added your own Full body ID 2 animation branch!
Hope that helped a bit! Goodluck!

I already tried uncheck active ragdoll, if do so, enemy will only stand still eventhough I flying kicked him . If you noticed in the video, at 0.10sec, the enemy do enter dead state before he stand again. Since this is for special attack with custom animation knockback enemy, I create new reactionID 2. No problem whatsoever with reactionID 1 but I don't want to change this as I need variation in combat system.

Yepp! my bad. got it working! Solved It! turns out my conditions ReactionID initially set as "greater" 2. So, I change to "equal" 2. everything works like charms.
