Looking through the code, it appeared that you could use the secondary weapon function to fire as a charged shot. This doesn't work though. I'm using the latest version. Is this by design? If so, I suggest that you make it so that charged shots can use the secondary fire option instead. I want my charged shots to look different, not just move faster and hit harder, i.e. Mega Man.
Can you offer a quick fix for this? I really hate altering the asset code because more often than not I end up breaking something unintentionally. Especially with such little documentation.

There is an example of the secondary shot in the vShooterMelee Demo scene in the vRifle You can press and hold the mouse middle button to start charging, if you release before it's full it will spawn one bullet prefab, if you charge all the way you can spawn a different prefab

Ok, well none of the demo scenes are working for me. Is there some difference in HDRP? So far everything else has been working but not the demo scenes.
(Forgot to add a script, so the demo scenes work.)
That aside, I took a look at each of the weapons, and in one of the scenes only the bow was a charge weapon, and it didn't have a secondary weapon assigned.
(Found the grenade launcher weapon)
I think maybe there might be some confusion? I want the Primary weapon to be a charge weapon that can fire a different projectile when charged. When I try this in my project, it doesn't work. I have a secondary weapon attached as a child of the primary weapon with it's own Weapon script, similarly to the demo scene. Is there some extra step I'm missing?

So... the behavior you want is the same as our vRifle example?
If yes, you can duplicate the vRifle prefab and just replace the meshes to your new weapon. If not, then I'm not sure I got your question xD

Ok, I'm going to try again, but I swear when I charge a shot it doesn't fire the other shot, it fires the normal shot.
If it comes down to it, I'll make a video showing what I'm doing.
