When setting up new attacks I tried to use the new vAnimatorTagAdvanced but it just locked all movement after any attack is used. I've tried ending LockMovement at like 0.8 or 0.9 and that doesn't help, so I think maybe it's bugged? The normal vAnimatorTag works though, so I know something is up.

Check if your Substate machine doesn't have an AnimatorTag attached if it does it will override the all the States inside

I'll check this again, but I did before posting and it wasn't working. Maybe there's an extra vAnimatorTag somewhere I didn't see.
