So i got the AI pack and everything but i wanted to make a generic monster so, i deleted some of the animator parts such as: strafe,defense and weapon attacks and left the locomonation+ one single attack.
i attached everything as usual and the animator works fine with the single attack. i changed the detection to the player and made the meele manager Hit damage tags to the player.
everything works fine. The animation, movement, Start damage, end damage and range. but the only thing that doesn't is the damage that isn't being recieved to the character!

It's very likely to be Layers or Tags, check the documentation to see how to apply/receive damage

Ok, so can you record a small clip showing the issue? make sure to get the inspector of your AI and target
