Created a simple game save for my game using scriptable object
Was using the vAddItemByID script as a example for adding to the inventory via script.
However had issue with get script to be called (1) only once in the game and (2) after Item Manager had loaded (Tried changing the execution order of the script to have it get called last). (Could not find an event that would call in Invector after the player was fully loaded, but seemingly everything is in invector so maybe there was other solve for this)
Decided to add a little mini game at the start of the game to hide the loading times and have it as a trigger early on in that, so that I am sure it get's called once and only once in game.
Still working though the details of getting items to auto equip into right slots and such, but good progress.
