Just a quick question I might be doing something wrong, but do the TPC have tank controls or supports it? I know fixed camera angles are supported, but I can't find anything on it. Tank controls were made and are perfect for games where the camera angle shifts a lot in classic games like RE and Parasite Eve and don't work well with modern controls. Can someone point me in the right direction this? I want to use fixed camera angles, but I dont see that happening with default controls. thanks mates!

Actually the template does not have Tank Controls, we have Free Directional, Strafe & Point & Click. But I agree that tank controls are the best for fixed camera angles, I was playing Resident Evil: Remake these days and they have add the exactly 'free' system saving the last input based at the previous camera, just like we did on the vMansion, but it's pretty awful sometimes. I absolutly love tank controls, but the sad thing is... you're the first person ever to request this feature lol, this oldschool style is basically dead :( Who knows, maybe we add this mode eventually just to have one more and maybe people will start using again

thanks for feedback. sadly as much as people say they love the oldschool RE, I honestly know they dont know what tank controls is and how its mandatory of fix camera angles . I was looking a vmansion video on youtube, and the free control awkwardest was sticking on like a shore thumb. . Well its good to know you like the oldstyle invector, thats really cool to see you know your stuff. I miss those days. Hopefully we as indies can bring it back.

I would like to 2nd tank controls, it seems like it it would make the template have some more variety (it already has variety, but it would be cool) :D

Actually I create a tank controller on my second experience with Unity ( after I make a First Person Shooter as everyone else lol) like 2 ou 3 years ago , the scripts are totally a mess along with the animator but I learn SO MUCH by doing this. It's a really an awesome exercise, pick a favorite game and try to replicate the mechanics in Unity, you will learn really fast!

I actually seen that video last week. looks so fucking awesome.
I'm not really a programmer, so my question is how hard you think it will be implement it in MTPC? I know anything is possible with coding, but do you think it will break much. TPC seems to have alot of stuff going on under the hood already.
found a video on tank controls. Seems like it drives from the mouse script.cs. interesting...

wow that's an excited guy lol
I guess it's not that hard to create a tank movement, basically you will need to insert another value for the LocomotionType enum just like the FreeOnly, StrafeOnly, FreeAndStrafe and now a Tank. probably check the RotateByWorld bool and make some verifications for the camera and other actions.
