(Update 04/07/2018) - updated to inVector Template Basic/Melee 2.3.1 & Shooter 1.2.1 - added FpcSwap() and FpcSetThirdMode(bool value) public methods to vFirstPersonCameraSwap to swap or chose the camera mode by invector events.

Getting 7 errors saying vcharactercontroller does not exist in the namespace, vthirdperson input could not be found

The last version is only for inVector Template Basic/Melee 2.3.1 & Shooter 1.2.1 sorry!. ok i got it working , but im noticing that only the pistol fires when i left click, all the other weapons in the demo scene like rifle and rpg only work when im in scope view(press z). is this how its suppose to act or perhaps i messed up in the code. coz i jus edited your code, im not a coder, at all so i was pretty much shooting in the dark using stuff i've learnt from watching youtube videos.

oh and also the camera seems heavily zoomed, is there a way to fix this coz all the collectable alert are apearing slightly out of the screen

Hey gubwe,
the system is made to work without adding code only if you are using the right template version. I can't help you if you are editing two incompatible version. Download the last Template version an the last FPCamera addon package from the first post...all will work fine.

yes thats the one i downloaded
i jus changed line 20 to Invector.CharacterController; and these lines: // Body Rotation if(isAction||vInput.cc.actions){ return; } else { Quaternion newRotation=Quaternion.AngleAxis(a, transform.up)*transform.rotation; if(!isUpdateModeNormal){ transform.rotation= Quaternion.Lerp(transform.rotation, newRotation, Time.fixedDeltaTime * vInput.cc.freeRotationSpeed); } else { transform.rotation= Quaternion.Lerp(transform.rotation, newRotation, Time.deltaTime * vInput.cc.freeRotationSpeed);
i also removed all other scripts just to be left with the camera script. so i dont know if thats where i messed up

all other things like punching,crouching and pistol are working well, jus the rifles that have to be in scope view to shoot, but their other functions like reload are working fine

mmmm i tweaked the scope id of the shotgun to 1 and got it working let me see if i cant make more adjustments. lol im starting to enjoy this
