Hi, getting an error with the newest Invector template (2.5) and Unity 2019.2.14f1:
Assets\FPCameraAddon\Scripts\Core\vFirstPersonCamera.cs(563,27): error CS1061: 'vThirdPersonController' does not contain a definition for 'RotateToTarget' and no accessible extension method 'RotateToTarget' accepting a first argument of type 'vThirdPersonController' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Will this be fixed ? Thanks.

yes, RotateToTarget has been removed ... for now you can replace:
vInput.cc.RotateToTarget(fpCamera.transform);
with
vInput.cc.RotateToDirection(fpCamera.transform.position - transform.position); Then Melee will work as usual ... only shooter melee when aiming with bow is lagged.
I will try to find a better solution.

(latest FPCameraAddOn_2.50) Damn long time user of your add-on and I'm stumped , I tried with 2019.3 and 2018.4. Third Person swap has an issues. in 3rd person aim works and can fire in a very limited area directly in front of the player. A few degrees left or right and I get a red x. Invector works great in Unity 2019.3.0f3.
Also, in 3rd person the IK adjustments revert back to No Ik adjustment, turn a little bit and IK adjustments come back to life (sometimes).
I appreciate everything you've done with the add-on and I hope with us giving you some clues you can track the problem. My game relies on 1st and 3rd person swap so I'm praying over here ((Same behaviour as what happened when trying your recent quick fix post about changing one line of code a couple days ago on older version of your add-on.))
**Several Console messages with ("Has a higher SerializedFile version)"
For example
Failed to load 'D:/Dec 12 HDRP 2018/Dec 12 HDRP 2018/Assets/FPCameraAddon/Scenes/Integrations/HAP3/FPC_BasicL_HAP3.unity' because it was serialized with a newer version of Unity. (Has a higher SerializedFile version)
*Also
Assets\FPCameraAddon\Scripts\Core\vFirstPersonCamera.cs(147,18): warning CS0414: The field 'vFirstPersonCamera.isRotating' is assigned but its value is never used
***Also this error I see often with other assets.
There are inconsistent line endings in the 'Assets/FPCameraAddon/Scripts/Core/vFirstPersonCameraSwap.cs' script. Some are Mac OS X (UNIX) and some are Windows. This might lead to incorrect line numbers in stacktraces and compiler errors. Many text editors can fix this using Convert Line Endings menu commands.
Let me know if you want help with tests. Cheers

Hi axbaby123, The addon is tested in the latest official version of Unity (2019.2.15) and I don't use beta versions sorry. Did you follow the included documentation to make the correct change to the shooter's code? The integration of Horse Animset Pro (HAP) is not compatible with the latest Invector T 2.5.0 ... you can delete the folder if it causes errors; We await Malbers update on this; You can ignore all warning message.

Did not read the documentation, I assumed it was the same process as earlier versions of the add-on. I will test in 2019.2.15 after making the code changes. I assume there is a Unity or Invector reason the user has to modify code **(I am not a coder and having noobie trouble modifying the code).

The shooter template needs some code modification and is always different for each invector template update. The only knowledge is to copy and paste in the right line of code following the documentation .

2019.2.15f1. Would be nice to know if I'm alone having issues, I am about to give up. I am using the latest 2.5.0 and mine doesn't even include ShooterMeleeInputEditor.cs I recall there were more then one 2.5.0 version of the controller this week. I followed the instructions and replaced the code. For a noob like me would you be so kind to show me what it should look like with the addition of showing a few lines above and below the edited code. I doubt these camera sway and recoil code have anything to do with my issue and this is just a cool bonus feature. For this one as well and (to make swap working) add before void start(): void CameraSwap() { tpCamera = FindObjectOfType<vCamera.vThirdPersonCamera>(); }
First Person works great, 3rd person has aim and arm issues. While aiming the arms get sucked into you chest. IK is setup perfectly aiming and not aiming without add-on.
Thanks for all you've done.

You have to download the latest version from the first post ... "ShooterMeleeInputEditor" was in the old version. The documentation is also in the spoiler on the first page.

You have to download the latest version from the first post ... "ShooterMeleeInputEditor" was in the old version. The documentation is also in the spoiler on the first page. I took the information about vShooterMeleeInputEditor.cs from your doc in the asset (FPCameraAddon/Documentation. I am and have been using the First Person Camera Add-on [2.5.0] from your first post. I am using the latest Invector 2.5.0. I will now look at the documentation on the Spoiler Page.
EDIT
Made the changes from your first post and my problem remains (limited aim area where everything works great 1st and 3rd view but turning/aiming a few degrees IN 3RD person I get Red x with also a similar body reaction when shooting too close or feet to wall etc. 1st Person works great.
I give up, hopefully someone will let me know if it's just me having trouble with the add-on.
