Make sure you don't have another camera in the scene tagged "Main Camera" or any Third Person Camera gameobject. Try the included premade scenes to see if all is working ...maybe there is some mistake in your setup. Thanks! I assume I did make a mistake somewhere. I'll check the demo again and start from the beginning. By the way, I was checking out your company website, you do some beautiful work! I love the ancient sites tours! sjmtech: Thanks for your help. Hope you are having a good day! I re-imported everything and now it is working like it should in the provided scene. The only issue I'm still having now is with HAP integration. But I have a couple of different methods I can use. I'm sure I can get it worked out. Is there any difference from the file you provided and the one Malbers released? I realized I had your integration as well as Malbers integration both installed, so that could be the conflict. (the problem is that the controller only works when on the horse. When I dismount, no movement, no camera movement, but when mounted everything works) I have some ideas to try so I should be able to work it out. Just posting in case anyone has experienced it and knows what I did wrong.

Here is the strange thing I haven't figured out yet. This has happened Twice now. After dismounting, the character goes flying backwards through the air and is unrecoverable (no animations, but I can switch cameras). Haven't found a way to reproduce yet. Once it was beside an object and the next was in an open area. So I've ruled out the object being the cause. I'll let you know if I find a solution or why.

Did you try my premade HAP scenes?
the InvectorHAPLinks in my package are the modified versions to work with FPCamera (no conflict with those of Malbers).

As i said is not something related to the fpCamera...the issue you reported is present also in the standard template scenes. Try Invector_ShooterMelee_NOInventory scene. I will try to fix it, but still hope it will be fixed later in the update

I added the scripts and brought in a horse into the basic scene to test, just to make sure I am getting the process right. I am experimenting now with it, so I'll load up your versions next. The only major issue is getting everything set up correctly when creating a new character. I'll followup after trying out the HAP scene with your integrations It is nice seeing progress.

Remember to add the right events as mentioned in my doc (look at the included prefab).

Remember to add the right events as mentioned in my doc (look at the included prefab). I don't think I did those right. I was just reading the docs again. Thanks for the pictures. I'll try it again. When I loaded the HAP scene, I could not get anything working. I'm not using melee or shooter though, so that is probably why. I just need basic locomotion.

Success! I got everything working now. I have one issue that I need help with.
I have the Third person set to walk, and root motion. But first person is running and not walking.
How do I set the first person to walk by default?

Hey dsilverthorn, glad you solved it! As for speed ... FPCamera uses Strafe locomotion, so you need to set your strafe speed settings too.

Hey dsilverthorn, glad you solved it! As for speed ... FPCamera uses Strafe locomotion, so you need to set your strafe speed settings too. Thanks! I knew there was a way. I think I found a bug though. After a couple of hours of working on my scene, I added the door prefab to try to get that going and the controller switched from moving where camera is pointing, to the camera not moving and the character being controlled by A moves left, D moves right, W to the top of screen, S to the bottom of screen, like in an overhead type game. Maybe like in a 2.5D or top down game? I rebooted and it is still the same. I have not changed anything, and this happened before when I was doing my original testing. I have only had this happen after adding the first person camera add-on. Any ideas on this? I haven't noticed anything that was checked or unchecked. But it could be. I'm not sure where to look. I hate having to recreate the character from scratch again. Please let me know.

I did some testing and the controller problems only happen when I load in your add-on camera- either basic or HAP. If I don't use the camera swap, the controls work properly. Will keep testing and follow up.

Fixed it. Had to delete first person folder and reinstall.

Fixed it. Had to delete first person folder and reinstall. Follow up After reimport I was still having the same control issues when on the horse. I’m using HAP and had the movement to follow the camera checked on the horse. That must have caused some more conflicts. Unchecking that seems to have taken care of the issue. We will see. Hopefully I’m correct and it won’t come back.

Is there a way to have the second camera in the scene and just switch between cameras? The reason is I am having trouble integrating with Vegetation Studio Pro. I put in the second camera but don't get any vegetation through the 3rd person camera, I figure it is because it is instantiated.
