I think i managed to fix my water area although dont know what the problem was exactly. I noticed that you are allowed to dive only once. Can this be changed somehow? Cause you are allowed to swim up everytime you press space but you can only dive "in" once. Also when you swim up above the surface the character floating Y changes to half submerged head. You have to press smiw up twice to get it to regular floating position. If you swim up then you should only have one floating position.
It sounds like there might be similar problems being experienced by others here, but I'm seeing a few swimming problems as well. The first one is like darthfarter is saying that when you dive and come back to the surface that the character is now submerged further than he should be.
The other problem is worse. If the character jumps into the water from a high height, the character is completely submerged, sometimes 2 or more feet under the surface, but the controller acts as if it's just treading water.
We need to be able to rely on the offset value that we set as being the floating level so that the character isn't underwater or partial head submersion. Are there any fixes for these issues?
