I got this free asset to use as a mini boss and wondered if i can use the health bar that the other AI uses. I tried to just use the character creator and use the .FXB of the cyclops but it says there is no animator controller found. Am I missing something simple (again) or is using this character ontop of the the 3rd person AI controller not going to work. www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/27320

Hi batman, I just copy the "enemyHealthUI" that's inside the enemy-model from Invector. Locate it in Head, select it, press CTRL-D to copy it. Now place Invectors enemy on location 0,0,0 (reset) and also your new character. Now drag the copy to your new characters head and your done.
You have to rig the cyclop to Humanoid first and remove his weapon (you make a invectorweapon from it later on). Open character editor, Select EnemyAI, as animatorcontroller you choose AI_Combatcontroller. Create and you have your enemy. Now you can do the first thing i typed
Hope this helps, Regards, Pat

Thank you, I got it working following your directions. If I can ask one more question, I want to replace some of the animations with the ones that came with the cyclopes asset. I copied the AI anim controller but inside that controller I have only found the death anim. I replaced it and tested it and it is working, I just dont know where the attack animations are inside that controller.

I just dont know where the attack animations are inside that controller.
in the combat controller, in animator window make sure you select "FullBody" under layers
you will then see the attack 1,2 and 3. You can also add more easily.

Thank you, I was able to find the attack anims and replace them. I cant seem to find the animation for running, sprinting, and walking though. Any idea where those are? Also I am trying to make a Vector weapon out of the cyclops mace but it isnt working. I imported the cyclopse and made a prefab of his mace but that doesnt work, how do I get the fXB file out of the cyclopse prefab?

It's locked to a bone, sometimes converting the character to .obj helps, but not alway's. Just give him another weapon then , or place an invisible cube around it as a weapon.

Not sure if you found the answer yet, but Running/movement is in the base layer under movement i believe. There should be one set for strafing and one for free movement. Make sure you make a duplicate Animation Controller so that the new animations stay with your cyclops, and not every enemy and every hero.
