I'll tell you what, one thing that would really help me out would be a text-based explanation of how to make a new animation using my character model in Blender, and then import that into Unity in such a way that I can add it to Invector's existing Animator setup.
ok, may I ask what kind of animation help exactly? as in, how do you animate in blender? or how would you export an animation already done in Blender into unity?
those obviously are huge differences between how a tutorial would be presented. also if it were to be how do you animate... well , again I would have to ask, animate what exactly?
the difference between making a 3d box in blender rotate as an animation and making a full bipedal walk animation would be again, huge differences.
just trying to get some clarity on what you need help with rather than what I think you need help with

Gah. That green is hard on the eyes. Terrible marketing. It does look like a pretty full-featured system, though. Seems promising. Do you know anyone who's used it?

Sorry, let me clarify. I don't expect you to teach me principles of animation or technical details on how to make animations in blender. What I'm hoping to learn is how to get "Animation" objects into my Unity project from a blend or exported FBX, and how to combine those with Invector's Animator which was made using animations with a completely different skeleton. Does Mechanim's avatar system do the heavy lifting here or what? Can you just slap any Humanoid Animation in there and it'll just work with any Humanoid avatar? Mechanim's been a struggle for me to wrap my brain around for a while now. I remember at one point, I tried to use one of those anime girl models from the Asset Store with this system. It completely didn't work. The skirt had "skirt bones" didn't exist in Invector's animations. And I couldn't just add skirt movement to Invector's animations, because if I edited one of the FBXs and re-exported it, it would break the skeleton somehow, so that it was no longer compatible with Mechanim. I didn't know how animation actually works in Unity at the time, though. I still don't. So I can't rule out operator error. I just know that animation in Unity is tricky.

Mecanim uses a standard humanoid skeleton(rig). There are plugins for blender that automatically place the unity rig so you can attach it to your model. You can place any humanoid animation into an anim state in unity and it will work with any model provided it A) has a humanoid rig B) has enough bones tied to a humanoid rig
Things like skirts etc aren't covered but if you have a model that has those bones and you place an animation tailor made for them into the controller it will still effect the skirt bone. I've done this with a model that uses a cloak and it worked fine.
The animator controller is merely a map that defines what animation plays when, it's useable on both humanoid and generic rigged models. (Generic means it doesn't have a standard humanoid skeleton). Because the tpc controller had animations for a bunch of different things (like 45 degree turns etc) it can be a bit of effort to get an eight legged arachnid queen to animate properly as an npc, but not impossible. You will only have issues if your model uses a legacy rig, that is incompatible with mecanim.

I don't know if this will help but please check out the videos of Sebastian Lague on youtube. Might help you understand things clearly. Start here since you already seem to know a bit about blender.

warpzone, ok, not sure if you are trolling me lol, but I really enjoy your posts. I mean... they are always quite entertaining. You should seriously think about blogging or something like that. I really did enjoy it. but now to answer some things so you better understand, I am not being hostile, nor am I trying to be a jerk to "noobs" as you said, we have all been there at one point. I supplied the code only with no video tuts simply because I don't believe its "robust" enough to have a full length tutorial on how to get it to work. if you see my Vehicle Add-On you will see Ive done a number of in depth video tutorials. also, I am doing this for free, with absolutely *no* incentive to share other than to be kind... so in that regard, calling me out for not *helping* is a little premature don't you think? making a video takes time, editing, uploading, time I could very well be working on "my own" issues with learning, as you said noobs, im still learning. so I cannot consider myself a "master" of any degree. but enough with all that, like I said, I don't want to sound like an a$$. but you also make some very decent points, and for that I will acknowledge that you did yourself, try and help. so if I were to do a video tutorial explaining how to do something, what might you be interested in knowing? how to create new animations in Invector and how to create parameters etc? to make those animations work? speak up my friend. We are all civilized here and usually willing to help. keep up the excellent posts though... they are really funny (I hope that was their intent and I didn't just insult you) We all hear you man if u wanna benefit monetarily why not become a patreon i think u will get motivated because people like you are an asset to newbies

Making videos is a lot of work, and if you're good at it, you should totally ask for compensation. Worst case scenario, you won't get many patrons and the status quo goes on. Best case scenario, you'll get some beer & pizza money out of it, maybe even spin it into a career or side-hustle. There's really no way you can lose.
