Hi,
I have figured out I can run around and shoot quite well by enabling Always Fire Forward and Hipfire, while rebinding the weak attack to another key besides mouse0 so the script can figure out I am trying to fire my weapon instead of punch.
However when I run around hipfiring the aiming reticle still appears -- it sits in the middle of the screen.
How do I disable this HUD element?
Also since we're here, how do I make new images for the existing inventory panes?

Check the TopDown demo scene, you're using the wront AimCanvas prefab, for TopDown controller you need to use the AimCanvasTopDown ;)
