I think this may have been posted somewhere else, I forget, but wanted to share.. probably ancient news to most..but...
If you characters root transform "Y" rotation becomes messed up after your characters falls (should get reset back to zero(0) but does not) or something or if you just invoke the ragdoll on it, just make sure you have your characters root object tagged with "Ignore Ragdoll". Problem will go's away.
Example: Using the Vbot. Tag the "Armature" object with "IgnoreRagdoll". There most likely is nothing on this object to begin with and most likely shout not be unless your doing something special..
Anyhow. my two cents. Like I said, probably already in a thread somewhere but I could not remember. Feel free to move or delete "V"

You can also add the "Untagged" tag into the Ignore Tags list of the Ragdoll component, this way you don't need to keep adding the tag IgnoreRagdoll into every children gameobject.
