Running 5.6.3, and 1.1.5 shooter. I've noticed that if I do a roll it moves my weapon slightly to my characters left and makes it jitter, but if I release aim and then crouch when I stand back up the weapon will be reset to the correct position on my character. Any ideas?

It didn't do this until I updated the shooter a few days ago.

I received the same complaint from another use these days but didn't manage to reproduce... is there anybody else with this issue?
I've tested for quite some time rolling, jumping, ragdolling, etc... and the weapons continue to be in the correct alignment here.

OK, I've downgraded to 2017.1.3, created a completely new project from scratch and it's still happening. I did notice it happening after I had changed all my weapon meshes to new ones, but I wasn't paying attention to whether or not it was happening with the vWeapons or not. Every firearm I have, I've changed the meshes on, and it happens with every firearm.

I'm going to recreate my character today and I'm hoping that takes care of it. If it's still happening after that, I'll record a video for you. Thanks! |

Can you record a video showing the issue? make sure to show your weapon components and children The video you requested. This is a fresh project I started using 2017.1.3f and shooter 1.1.5. The weapons are pure Invector, I haven't changed anything about them at all. I can shoot fine until I do a roll, then it throws the weapon IK alignment off and makes the weapon jitter like crazy. If I crouch down for a second or so, then stand back up it resets the weapon back to it's normal position on my character. Once I roll again, it's rinse and repeat. I have no clue what's going on. My main project I've been working on for 9 months was fine until I updated Unity and the shooter, now it's doing it as well. I tried reverting back to the version of unity that I started my main project on (5.6.2) but it still does it. I'm stumped, and I really don't want 9 months of work to be trashed. I've had the Shooter template for around 10 months, and have never experienced this bug until now. Thanks. |

That makes zero sense,  this also happens in the demo scenes? I tested here and it's working as expected, even with a custom character |

It doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason as to when it will first happen. It just started doing it right up until about 30 minutes before I recorded the video. Before that it was working fine. As you can see this is a pretty empty scene. The only tag I've changed is the cube I'm shooting to "concrete" to show where the bullets are hitting, and I only did that after the weapon IK started messing up. I haven't changed any other tags, layers, or anything else besides setting the bow collect up, creating my character, and adding in the hotfixes in the code. One thing I did notice, is that from the very beginning when I would jump with my character he would start playing walking animation in the air before he hits the ground. That's with the default jump settings and default jump animation. Is there a way to roll back the shooter version to the previous one? |

I think that this issue where you're walking on air is an animator issue, do you have the zipline add-on imported?
Unfortunately, the asset store doesn't allow importing older versions of an asset.

No, I don't have the zip line add on imported. So, no clue on what the issue may be with the weapon IK? |

Well, I just finished setting up a new scene again. It's still doing it.....guess I'm disabling roll for now. I think I might put in the slide animation you guys have included to take its place.
