Yes keep looking for motivation likes he stated!!! Also watch movies/ game play videos/ play some games study their Dynamics and tare them apart and figure out how they achieved what caught your attention and try to implement that same thing BUT BETTER in your game your doing awesome work keep it up!

Everything looks great, for the mines you should make them explode "OnTriggerExit", so if the player steps on it and he realizes, he knows that he will die as soon as he moves, and that he cannot do anything xD
