Status update: The revamped add-on is in pre final release state... Playable demo is currently being stress tested... After stress testing the playable demo i had a couple things i had to tweak to play well with other things... right now the demo takes a bit of time to load after intro due to such large file size but plays nicely (even on a budget laptop such as mine) so.... don't worry you will be able to test on your friends project "VERYYYYYY SOOOON" hahhaha.... SO after stress testing the playable demo and making some tweaks, i though i share a couple of progress screen shots (TEASERS) of whats happening in the add-on but can't show every thing hahahahaha.... I think every one will find something they might like in this add-on as there are a couple "HIDDEN AREAS" one is Hidden in plain sight and the other well.... you will have to "GO OFF ROAD" to find it MUHAHAHAHAHA....

I can't download your add-on - help me plssssssssssssss The version of the add-on I am currently working on is not released YET... But will be very soon... If you want the ORIGINAL add-on by the ORIGINAL CREATOR of the add-on It should be on page 5 in one of the posts of this thread... There will be alot of code to be changed to get it working with the previous and current version of the INVECTOR TEMPLATE... Most of which changes can be found in this thread... Otherwise you can wait just a little bit longer For the version I have been working on which should have all the changes already made up to the previous version of the INVECTOR TEMPLATE... Wow!!! When will this amazing add-on launch? During one of my stress runs to find any last remaining issues I could find before releasing this add-on my version of unity died... During my silence concerning this addon I have since revived my version unity... But only have my last test build and a backup copy of everything... Unfortunately the in game menu has become difficult to navigate and had to remove some of its functionality to get it playable... Due to that I have been hesitant to release the demo... Until I can resolve that issue.... The pause menu works but have to repeatedly press the down key ( the keys used to control from keyboard) to highlight the quit button which closes the game... Otherwise the demo is fully functional... If people don't mind that then I will release the demo... Until next time, SJL |

We all apriciate the time you have spent on this and understand you holding off until it is perfect, BUT.....
I cant wait to get my hands on it and see what wonderful things you have created.

Seems like this guy is just making excuses. No excuses needed to be given... Especially since I am doing this for free... I didn't have to let people know that I was fixing or fixed the vehicle add-on and kept it to myself not did or do I even have to give up dates on it's status or even release it for that matter... But I am doing it for the community to help others out and bring this thing upto date.. Instead of releasing a broken demo or system for that matter or making promises to deliver or abandon the whole thing or take a free asset a make it a paid one..( which I could because of my work in it) I'm doing this completely free... As it was done by the original creator... Trying to provoke or troll some one for something you obviously want will not make it released any faster... It's actually rather difficult and time consuming to fix broken code (due to unity releasing tons of newer versions of the game engine but never fixed the core problems) that means coding has to change... And that requires tons of trouble shooting and testing... Especially going through thousands of lines of code between INVECTOR TEMPLATE and the add-on... Other than that the original add-on from the original creator should be in a comment on page 5 in this thread... so my friend your more than welcome to try to do everything yourself... Take the time you need to get it right! I can understand how much work you put into a thing out of love, only to hear complaints and criticisms. This is your project and we are just glad you are willing to share it with us.  We also appreciate the updates so we can know what you are going through and that you are still working on it. Looking forward to the day when you have it finished and are comfortable with releasing it! |
