BASIC LOCOMOTION TEMPLATE
Demo With the Basic Locomotion Template, you have a starting point to make any type of ThirdPerson Game, RPG, Action-Adventure, 2.5D Platform, Isometric, Topdown, etc. Your call, your game. Features > - Set up any model in less then 10s - Rigidbody, root motion and non-root motion controller - Mecanim & Humanoid - Third Person Camera with CameraStates - Works great on mobile devices - Xbox 360 controller compatible - Auto detected input type real time - Footstep audio system on mesh or terrain - Fully commented C# code, NO DLL's - Documentation and video tutorials - Play with ragdoll physics
  The vRooms has a hive shape and each template will have a room.  We add some new examples that you guys want for a while, like a damageable area:  Spikes that active the ragdoll (pretty cool to see lol)  And also moving platforms that move in horizontal, vertical or even diagonal  We rebuild the entire animator controller & scripts that call animations, now we have way less transitions and it's easier to add new animations and control them.  And of course, this new update will have the awesome V-bot 2.0 with custom skins

I knew you had updates planned, but man oh man, just look at all this new functionality!!! I cannot wait to play with the new melee package as well!!

Wow this looks amazing guys! I love how the spike impale the character holding him in place. Now i know this is for basic loco but when melee 1.4 comes it will be using this basic loco right ? At the 4 second mark there is a message "This update is not compatible with previous version, backup your current project and create a new one for this update" This has got me a little worried, Does this mean my current project will not be able to work with this aka I have to redo all my AI and player for these updates ? Sorry but I haven't had to update with this asset b4. once again awesome job! thanks!

That's correct, we have updated the entire AnimatorController and how the animations are called, also there is a new class just for Input, these changes alone goes deep into the core of the controller and if you just replace the Invector's folder it will just cause a lot of errors. It's a necessary bad in order to push the limits and make the package more solid, but that isn't the end of the world because creating characters will be just easy as before, and much more stable now. You just need to export your characters and scenes and import into the new project.

Ok, thanks for the heads up Im not gonna be making any more AI then. I just have a few more questions if you don't mind.
Q: Will basic loco v 1.3, melee combat v 1.4 and shooter v 1.0 all be released at the same time ?
Q: Will it be possible to have a melee & magic AI ? being able to toggle into these AI types ? kind of like a shaman ...
Q: Will AI be able to target and cast on other AI ? like healing ?

A: Nope, the Basic 1.3 is already available, the next will be the Melee and finishing with the Shooter Q: Will it be possible to have a melee & magic AI ? being able to toggle into these AI types ? kind of like a shaman ... A: an AI that changes weapon? - Hmm it's a very nice ideia, noted. Q: Will AI be able to target and cast on other AI ? like healing ? A: We already have the magic attack, you just need to replace the code that apply damage, to one that apply health.

I wanna know if I should just continue on my project and try to release a basic version. I don't have a job because I'm injured from work so I have a lot of time on my hands. Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot We want to release v1.4 of the Melee Combat as soon as possible (2~3 weeks), there is a loooot of stuff to go through but I think it's possible  , let's hope the rest of the update goes smoothly
