Hi,
I have been looking for some guidance on the scripts and steps necessary to use the Melee controller in Adventure Creator. I would like to be able from AC to equip, use, drop, etc... items from its inventory on the controller. I am not sure what is needed but some type of API would seem to be the way to go.
Does Invector have something of that nature?
Thanks

I change the title and move to the Integrations section for better searching. You could use the AC thread that uber posted above, but answering your question, you want to AC inventory interface to access our inventory and items? hmm I can tell that this doesn't seem to be an easy task. I would recommend using our Inventory system or AC, but combining both look like a lot of work. We do have an API (little outdated) www.invector.xyz/vapi

Hi
Thanks for the response.
I started with the provided video and was able to get my character working with AC and Invector. I added the necessary components like vInvectorACLink outlined in the threads. I needed to copy this code from the thread as I could not find a download for it.
Is this supported by Invector?
To better explain my goals. I would like to use AC's Inventory to gather items like potions, swords, shields, etc.. then notify the Invector components to use or equip those items. Basically what methods in Invector would need to be called to achieve that flow.
Here is a flow, if I gather a health potion from an AC action it would be in AC's inventory. Then when my player needs to restore his health I need to see what methods from AC and also from Invector that I would need to invoke to achieve that flow.
The same would be true for equipment. Arm my player with a sword picked up from AC and have it be equipped by Invector so when I attack something Invector can apply any damage.
At this point in my project I am just trying to work out these operations so I have a foundation to build upon.
Thanks,
