Player did not Spawn Properly

Help,my player did not spawn at the assigned Spawn Point/transform. Yes,ive already follow the instruction,it work before but i cant now for unknown reason

Make sure to remove any Player Prefab in the scene and assign the Player Prefab from the Project window

I had the same issue but I was adding character prefab from the hierarchy instead of the project window.  However, the camera and all other attachments are gone.  Guess this is due to distorying the original character.  Is there a way just to have the dead character come back to life and the spawn point and still retain all his gear and camera settings?

I'm interested in this as well, as I need my player to come at certain spawn point after death, and not restarting the whole scene...
