The AI's (ShooterMelee template, the only shooter template in the FSM AI Unity store package) run up and then a few seconds after they get real close, they start shooting. I've looked at the debug and it says "Can Aim: True" but "Aiming: false" until they touch the player.
I've looked around and can't find a solution. I've changed all of the values that have to do with distance, but no results.
Did anyone else have this problem and know how to solve it?
Edit: After playing around with it, if the target has a really long distance to run sometimes they will start shooting a few feet away from the player.

I figured it out. You have to increase the max field of view distance (2 down from field of view). Then you have to go to combat settings and increase the combat distance.
