Hello , just got back in unity. i am tring to import my toon , have my flord fully baked and all layers set to default ; my character doesnt move and seem to be stuck in a runing or charging motion animation. i tried with 2 different toons , i used to have it work before. -thx

Here is the basics:
- make sure that you're model does not have any components besides the Animator before creating a new character. - if you need to change the size of the model, change the scale directly into the FBX settings and do not use the transform. - make sure that you're ground is using the layer "Default"

I was tring to use the animator that come with the character , it work fine using the invector one , i am going to learn to fixs animation soon , i also have a lots of non humain monsters , would they work with the templates ?

Why do you want to use the animation controller that comes with the model? Use invectors and change the animations.
And you can't use non humanoid models out of the box. Take a look at the "Addon" Forum. There is a Thread called GenericAI.

hey , thx for the help it is very appreciated , i am now tring to apply ragroll on this model , but when he get hit and rag apply ; my armor get in a messed position ,

make sure all gameobject inside the player has the tag IgnoreRagdoll or Weapons, there is a infobox explaining about it on the ragdoll component

Hey , i have just finished the mele tutorial , i have my sword in my right hand ; but the character attacks still go for punshes and kicks . i cant figure out what might be wrong. thx

Check the MoveSetID of your weapon, compare the values to our prefab weapons

would it be a lots of trouble if i uses 4 preset characters wearing direrent armors , each armor representing a tier , and i would switch from one ''character avatar'' to another one when armor tier change ? i would like to have a easy inventory systeme but have complexe armors with a lots of pieces to manage. -thx

Hi vike, when it comes to armours, check the add-ons section. There's a very handy invector based armour pack that will do exactly what you're after!
