I am trying to find a newer tutorial or documentation on setting up generic actions I.E. Open chests jump over object etc. Can anyone point me at an updated tutorial or documentation please and thank you in advance.
All I have found is this and is quite outdated.

It still pretty much the same, the only big change is that now we have the inputs directly in the triggers instead of the Player's GenericAction, this way you can have different inputs depending on the trigger.
Is there anything you didn't understand from this tutorial?

Well I have tried using a couple things and most are working but have a few questions.
1. I have set up to jump over object and it seems to be working but only every once in awhile it doesnt seem to work every time for some reason.. 2. When I used the climb up (say to climb on top of a box) it works but then I am falling through the box and cant seem to fix that. 3. Havent tried doors yet but that seems pretty straight forward.
Thanks in advance for the help.

1- make sure your trigger is using a good size and it's actually colliding with the player capsule collider 2- make sure that the MatchTarget transform (explained in the video) is above the collider and don't forget to sync the start/end with your animations

Can we get access to the Demo scene from the video? I am sure that would allow us to answer many questions.

I dont understand. What project? Its the project files I want.
I am having difficulty understanding the Match Pos, Match Rot and Match target fields, and I wanted to see how you got the hand to be close to the doorknob.
The Match Pos fields only have zero or one as values, right?
I am using the Pick_Up animation, and I want the hand to match with a game object.

In your Basic Locomotion demo, the StepUp animation has an End of 30.0, but the Trigger Generic Action has an exit time of 0.7, Why is that? Y0u mention Transition Duration. How do I find that? I find my character does the action once, but after the second time, he jumps forward.

Hello. I would like to get some help regarding to generic actions. The on end action doesn't seem to work. i tried to disable on action start than enable on action end and nothing happens. i even tried to write a debug message cant see where the problem could be.

I could use help here also! I'm trying to create a door opening animation exactly like the video. The problem is that the current version of Invector (2.5.0 I think) has a different layout of the "Trigger Generic Action Component"I attached an image, trying to show you what I'm talking about... @invectoradministrator, please a new " [filename].unitypackage" of exactly what you showed in this YouTube video that could be imported into our projects (for the newest version of Invector). I would really appreciate it! Also, do you have documentation for all the "Events" in the "Trigger Generic Action Component"? I don't understand what anything means, if they're a generic Unity thing, or terminology that you made specifically for Invector. For example, "Function > GameObject > bool isStatic" - I don't know what that means or how to figure out what it means. Note: I haven't read all of the documentation like the Third Person Controller - Shooter Template v2.5.0 26/11/2019 PDF, but I don't think I saw anything about this component in there... Thank you!

Oh, and for anyone watching that YouTube video who doesn't know how to make a simple animation from scratch, I found this video and it helped me:

Its all the same functionality as the video, the only difference is the layout. I had to fool around with them for a bit to understand them.

Any deference between unity animator vs Umotion pro? Which is better
