What is the state of the project so far? Is there a development log and a goals / feature checklist?
Also is there a demo or some sort of showcase to preview the project and the features offered?
How does your project handle the modular armour system right now? Is it combining Synty's armour and adding onto it?

Also please keep developing this RPG Kit; it has so much potential! I bought it within the hour of your video on your armour set up. Where can I bug you when I eventually break everything? Lord knows that the bugs are coming and they will keep coming; always bugs XD!

no problem! I have messaged you the discord invite. I've tried to make it bug free but yes there will always be bugs, like the event calls in 2.5.2, i have played with 2.5.3 and I don't seem to get the same issue but i haven't extensively tested it. I will be updating it as I work on it for my project, so it's really there as an example on how to modify the template for your own project. Hopefully it helps you kickstart your own rpg

What are your plans right now? How is everything going so far? What does the RPG look like so far?

I am using uberrpg stat. I am trying to add attack speed to this. I have it in the vanimatorparameters. If i put set float (vanimatorparameters. Attackspeed, attackspeed) it wont do anything, but if I put in (vanimatorparameters. Attackspeed, 2f) then it works. I just need help from there. I need the variable to work in the place of the float. I know this is probably a simple fix, but it is giving me a problem

Nice idea. So you can see declaring the variable directly works, so you must not be setting/calling the attackspeed value prior to the call. How are you triggering it? Is it a method somewhere? Also where is the attackspeed variable placed?

Dissappointing. Very cool design and features a lot of us want to use. But I found it to be unusable. Compile errors on load. Directions weren't clear as to which versions of what to use/install. The developer cleared those first easy issues up, but its not up to date with latest versions of Invector Shooter nor add-ons. And it changes core Invector scripts which appear to cause problems in other places. It certainly breaks any other integrations. My recommendation is if you want to spend $25 to learn some techniques maybe take a look, but don't expect to build your game around or it to be anywhere close to a plug and play asset. I had to restore a build from backup after installing the first time. I queried the developer and he answered a few basic questions at first which should've been in the docs for a paid asset, but I was grateful nonetheless but when I shared the errors I was getting and asked advice for the approach I was considering to resolve it, or what versions of things he had specifically tested against, I was told the problem is with Invector's code not his. That answer doesn't really make sense to me if the whole purpose of your code is to integrate with a main asset.

Oh here's my thread xD Package has been revamped with the new 256b shooter template.
Most of ben's confusion above stemmed from having a copy of the RPG for 2.5.2 and below, and a second copy for 2.5.3 and above. He was downloading both packages and installing both without reading the 2.5.3 instruction update. There was one issue of the missing vDamage edit which I rectified. I have now removed the older version and only have the latest 256b version online. If you're using an older version of invector and don't want to update you can reach out to me and I can source a copy of the old versions. Unfortunately there seems to be some miscommunication or misunderstanding with ben's issue. As I wasn't able to answer within 24 hours, he tried to make his own edits and workarounds to the missing vDamage script and caused several more errors that he was unable to recover from and resorted to a backup. He then presented me with several issues that were unrelated to the RPG addon and were symptoms of something else. He was installing other addons and integrations that would overwrite the core scripts for the RPG addon. At this point he became insulting, I still tried to explain to him that the errors were because he was using addons that wrote over the top of my core changes, and that he is likely using mismatched versions of the addons for his template, I even went as far as to point out the documented code that showed what edits he'd need to make himself to make the rpg addon pack compatible with the other addons but he since stopped communication.
