Just made this health monitor addon. This addon monitors the players health until it reach's a certain adjustable value, I call this the hurt state. In this state a audio clip can be played(by event), by default heart beat loop. It can also set the damage image relative to the players health(by event). Example: If the hurt state has just been entered the damage image wont be very visible but will however become more visible the more hurt the player is. Now uses injured animations. www.dropbox.com/s/ubgfv0onwjk4oog/HealthMonitorAddon%20v1.unitypackage?dl=0

I'm still working on the animation part of the addon. =) Hopefully I can set it up that you can just download the animations and the Meta files will set up into the custom animator I have set up.
Edit I cant find any strafe hurt animations which sucks hard.

I'm putting another virtual beer in the fridge with your name on it Ps. I don't know if it could work but maybe strafing should be disabled when hurt?

I have a bunch of options set up for the user to decide what they want to include.
While aiming you can disable movement. while not aiming you can force walk only and disable roll, jump, strafe, sprint, crouch. By default I have it setup so everything is disabled because of the lack of animations but it still looks great. I'm also working on messages to the user when a input has been used. Example: tried to roll, I'm to hurt to roll right now.
Ps: the video was taken when It was super basic.

That's looking reaaaaally good ! One good way to improve this would be to have slower attack animations, and dealing less damage than usual. But this is just doing a new attack state with a "is hurt" parameter for entry, right ? You can actually go pretty deep with this, like taking whatever value from the controller to modify them (slower movement, aim not as good, etc...) As for the strafe, I don't think it's necessary, you're hurt after all

download link fixed with tutorials Hey Thank you for some cool addons you're on fire these days! So i finally got to play around with the Health Monitor addon today, So far everything is working fine except, when i exit the hurt state the hand Ik's are mesed up? When holding a rifle it is the Left hand that are out of place ... it even happens if i just add the health monitor script to the character but don't do the Animator change. Do you have any idea what could be causing that? *UPDATE* I noticed during runtime that when i exit the Hurt state the "Use Left IK" on the Shooter Manager gets turned off... *Solved* I think you forgot to Add shooterManager.useLeftIK = true; in the public void CheckHurtState() Now it works! Thanks

Ah I see the problem. When in the hurt state and not aiming I have to disable the left hand IK or the animation looks weird. I simply just forgot to enable the IK back when he comes out the state. Ill look into these problems and post a fix soon. Updated main dropbox link, if you already have the addon installed just download and import the hotfix. HOTFIX www.dropbox.com/s/cnuk2w61qz55nek/HealthMonitorHotfix.unitypackage?dl=0Special thanks to Munk for finding those bugs.

Hi Again, How can i get my character to leave the hurt state if i use health regeneration. I've tried using the "On Check Health event" on the "Third Person Controller" the same way as with the Health Potion but it does not work... Do you have an idea how to get that working? Feature Request: It could be cool if when you're Hurt you could regenerate health if you crouch or don't move... Thanks Again for a Cool Addon.
