First, i am not using vThirdPersonCamera since i'm using system of my own. I'd suspect this is the reason, but then something has changed since in previous version everything worked fine.
So after upgrading the Controller by first deleting the old version, this happens with every new character built. The Character wont rotate to direction its moving, and if "Use Rootmotion" is on the character only moves forward.

Hey Devistute,
this issue has been introduced in the last version.
To fix it add to "vThirdPersonInput.cs" at line 263:
else cc.ControlRotationType(); // handle controller rotation also if tpCamera is null Let me know if it works for you too.
