I'm currently having an issue setting a waypoint for my AI, when holding down Shift and left clicking, I'm just highlighting the terrain and going back and forth between it and the Waypoint area object. I'm currently using 2019.3.7f1. Not sure if it's just me or a bug.

I deleted my waypointarea and created it again, and was then able to set way points. Thanks!

I'm seeing the same thing now and deleting the waypoint area doesnt fix it. seems to be a bug. Shift-Left Click just selects the surface or gameobject in the scene rather than creating a waypoint.

Yep im having this issue too. Shift clicking does nothing. I emailed Invector directly for help and they suggested to delete FSM and reimport but still no fix

Just faced the same issue. Apparently you can solve it by activating the "Gizmos". Issue seems to be originating from a change of unity version, which now disactivates "OnSceneGui" method from the waypoint editor if Gizmos are not activated.
