Any update on this? I think it's not a problem with the Save function, but the ammo manager or something. I also found that after Loading Inventory, I can't even pick up new ammo. - The Load Inventory function correctly loads items you saved. - The ammo you carried becomes an item in the inventory I can't reload to the weapon. - After Loading, can't pick up additional ammo. Anyone having this issue? Am I doing something wrong? Please help. Thanks, setting the events for open/close inventory solved it, though I'm new to Invector and the previous version didn't require you to set up events for the inventory, you may want to include this step in the documentation. Thanks for getting back to me fast.
I'd love to finally move on and work on my game but the Inventory load example is causing me issues now. It doesn't add your carrying ammo back to your weapon after loading the save, only as a seperate inventory item which I cannot reload into to the weapon, even after dropping them 1 by 1 and picking them up. Is there a method to have the load function actually add the ammo back to your weapon? Can we have the ammo not take up inventory space but just being applied to the weapon?
Interesting, I will take a look and perform some more tests to see if there is a bug in the save/load About the ammo... We didn't think of that but you could simple filter the ItemWindow to not display the ItemType: Ammo
