Inventory prefabs not recognised [Solved]

I have been trying to add an inventory to my character and non of the prefab inventories are recognised as the correct file type...

Update your template to v2.5.2, basically the ItemManager creator is not recognizing this prefab because it doesn't have the vInventory script attached to the root object, you can simple Add the ItemManager via the 'AddComponent' at the inspector and drag and drop the prefab to inside your character but I recommend updating to get the latest bug fixes as well.

I have added the Item Manager component to the ShooterMelee prefab and it still isn't letting me drag & drop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am updated to 2.5.2 and encountering this issue.

Update: Sorry haha. I understand, I needed to add the v inventory scrip to the prefab, not the item manager component. 

Well, no luck. Even though its accepted the inventory prefab, when I press "I" the character pauses and The bug is "Argument Exception: Input Button Return is not set up" - Not really sure what to do about that since the input is set to "I" like normal.

Tried to look at shootermelee demo to maybe see what I was missing, and the whole thing loaded in red, paused, and then unity crashed.

Ok, let's try that again...

Create a new and clean project, import version 2.5.2 and make sure to also import the ProjectSettings
If you're not sure if the ProjectSettings was imported, you can manually import by going to the Invector menu > Import ProjectSettings

Try it now ;)

Wow! The new inventory that takes up the whole screen looks amazing! It is mostly working now. In my previous attempt, I tried deleting and then re-importing FSM AI without the third person folder, so it wasn't a clean project. Thank you so much.

One minor thing that is a little tricky, it seems if I use the arrow keys to browse anything in the items tab, I need to make sure that it isn't selecting anything when I move to equipment tab, in order to select anything there. Took me a few minutes to figure out. Also, in the equipment tab, is it meant to show the player controller's body? Very cool. Unfortunately, its just showing my legs. Not a big deal but figured worth mentioning. Either way. Bug solved, thank you again! So excited to get back to using Invector!
