Hello,
I need to find my current speed as I want to add sliding animation. What I want to achieve is to be able to slide when move speed is > 0.
For some reason the current speed is 4 (in the Debug window) same as the running top speed. I have installed a fresh Invector project and I can see the same current move speed when not moving the character.

The debug will check the Locomotion speed, if it's 4 you're most likely to be running by default: There are several ways to know if your character speed, there is the moveSpeed variable, the input, _rigidbody.velocity, animator InputMagnitude, etc...

Thank you for the quick response.
I have 2 more issues for which I need advice please:
1. I've got the crafting addon last night and the problem was in the demo scene. Every time When I was picking the mushrooms it shows a different amount in the inventory or nothing at all. I've checked the 3 craftable mushroom items in the item list, but everything looks alright. I've done the test with a new Unity project with freshly installed Invector Melee pack.
Edit: after re importing the addon I can pick the blue and the red shrooms but not the green. When I check the properties of that mushroom, everything looks same as the other 2. After couple of times restarting the scene the character picks the mushrooms but they just destroy as there is nothing in the inventory.
Edit: I tried with custom crafting material and it works well. The problem with the demo scene still persist.
2. When I open the standard inventory and close it on mobile, the touch joystick responsible for the player movement somehow locks. I have my Cursor unlock/show on start checked as it says.
3. I can see that there is a damage type. If I set it to fire how do I set up an item to have fire defence/resist?

Hello, need a bit of help. I tried to add attribute maxhealth to a weapon but it doesn't work. I've assigned maxhealth and addhealth to the item manager. MaxHealth potions work, so I guess it's something with events >>> OnEquip but when I reference the character controller I cannot assign the same methods as in the attribute events instead I can see changeMaxHealth(int). Probably there is something that I'm missing.
