Hello, yes, the clothing is a vItem..it will persist in any scene..it works like weapon item..but you need a saving system..Here i'm using the invector saving system..Here is an example in my mobile build

Hey there! Ive got this working fantastically, its so great!
I do have a question, is it possible to get things like Helmets or belts, that dont need to be skinned/rigged to the model, to act as clothing items?
Like instead of having the helmet rigged like a shirt or pants, just have it be a prefab you can instantiate?
If not, still great!
EDIT: Nevermind, you can use the InventoryItemCheck prefab to just turn objects on and off, That works just fine!

Hey! looks awesome, just grabbed it and imported it into my project. I sorted the first 2 compiling errors with the fix above, but I'm getting these: Assets\Invector-3rdPersonController\Add-ons\ClothingSystem\Scripts\Clothing Damage\vObjectDamageOverride.cs(28,23): error CS0029: Cannot implicitly convert type 'int' to 'System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string, int>' Assets\Invector-3rdPersonController\Add-ons\ClothingSystem\Scripts\Clothing Damage\DamageReductionDisplay.cs(19,31): error CS0029: Cannot implicitly convert type 'int' to 'System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string, int>' I didn't want to start digging into the code before asking - so any advice would be great
[UPDATE - I'm an idiot. re-imported the scripts and is fine ] Thanks,

Hey, so I realize why I can't use the clothing items to "start equipped," based on how its setup now, but have you had any luck with that?

Updated the clothing system with minor changes -Added functions to load cloth items on start of scene -Added also an option to load save items on start (From Invector vSaveLoadInventory) -Fixed the vObjectDamageOverride.cs error Get the updates here : gum.co/KhLDNThe package contains the same things in the video, except the updated scripts.

Getting some errors with v4.0
Assets\Invector-3rdPersonController\Add-ons\ClothingSystem\Scripts\Clothing_Core\ClothingSystem.cs(208,34): error CS1061: 'vEquipArea' does not contain a definition for 'indexOfEquipedItem' and no accessible extension method 'indexOfEquipedItem' accepting a first argument of type 'vEquipArea' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Hi! What version of Invector are you using? Could you check your vEquipArea if it has this variable?

Got it..Im using version 2.5.2, but i already opened a new project with version 2.5.3 added the clothing system 0.4..
I noticed this changes in spelling in vEquipArea.cs..
So, please change the indexOfEquipedItem to indexOfEquippedItem.. (two p's)
I think the spelling got messed up from version 2.5.2 to 2.5.3
Already tested the clothing system in the version 2.5.3 and it is working just fine.
