Hi shyno19, I've already re installed 2019.4.9f1 , same version with what you're using..and i do not experience that error..might be with your editor..not sure..try re-installing that version perhaps...Here's the video of the test

I think i find the problem.
The model of the prefab is not an FBX, it's a blend model.
i don't have Blender.

oh I see, that's good to know..In the next update I'm gonna export it as FBX..thanks.. Will try to add the stats effect (related to armor) you mentioned..

Continuing with the stat system - it is now capable of modifying the controller basic attack..
In the example video, i added modifier to both axe and helmet (but can also be applied to other items) to modify basic attack..
Next time we will try to test other stats such as stamina, mana, and critical chance -

in the video, the stat modifies the player's basic attacks..for weapon, yes you can just attached the damage or critical chance or any modifier you want depending on your game to that weapon like in the sample image below.. this weapon adds 120 basic damage and has a 20% chance to double the damage with critical chance

Not sure yet, i was thinking to have a separate add on of it since is a different system..I'm working on it if i've got time..not full game dev..Im lucky enough if ive got 2 hrs of game dev work after office..im also working on my hobby project Guryo..but im working on this system.=)

Hi! just checked it. It is working in the latest version 2.5.5.. There is one line changes in the vObjectDamageOverride.cs just change protected override void ApplyDamage (Transform target, Vector3 hitPoint) to protected override void ApplyDamage( Collider target, Vector3 hitPoint) Will upload the latest version soon..
