Hi Folks
Just updated to 2.5.3 and think is great so far and have just started to play with the new IK Adjust component which I think is fantastic so far. as well, 10 times better than the old IK Adjustment method.
I have come across the need to be able to Aim whilst using a "CustomAction" animator tag and cannot seem to get it to work.
The flow is as follows: My Character decides to sit on a chair (Triggers an Action with keypress that makes him go into a sitting animation loop) My Animation runs as expected and the "CustomAction" animator tag stops movement and rotation (as expected).
Now, how do I continue to aim my pistol whilst in this Action (sitting). The actual Animation in the Action is a looping animation so never exits out until I stand up. I have tried to just use "LockMovement" animator tag - this allows me to look around but my hand / arm stays in the same pose and doesn't aim to where I am looking.
Is there an easy way to have my action prevent movement but still "look around" and more specifically, Aim my pistol.
Thanks in advance!

There is a condition (that actually shouldn't be there) in the vShooterMeleeInput > method UpdateArmsIK, search for && !cc.lockAnimMovement and remove it.
You also need to remove the tag LockMovement from the HeadTrack inspector > Animator Ignore Tags.
That should do the trick
