Hi there,
I do own the latest version of Melee Combat available. I do have some questions and I don't know if I should create separate threads for each or post them all here. I will go with second option and change to separate threads if needed.
Ok, so:
1. How to create random animation for JumpOver? It is already defined in the animator but I would love to implement more than 1 animation per jump. I tried to add vRandomAttackBehaviour on JumpOver sub-state and conditioned the animations inside for each attack with RandomAttack = 1,2,3... basically I have followed all the steps described here: invector.proboards.com/thread/214/random-attack-animations?page=1&scrollTo=2571
The problem is that only the default animation is played. No matter how many I add. What am I doing wrong?
2. Where can I find/edit the animations for the melee attack? I've added my character using "Create melee controller" from Invector menu but I cannot find anything related to attacks in the Animator window. Is there a separate animator? Where can I find it? *stupid question, I know*
3. If I want to condition the jump from the rolling state, how can I do it? Currently, I can trigger the rolling animation and jump whenever I want from that state. What function should I edit?
I tried to condition the rolling to isGrounded but the jump is after the rolling animation started.
4. I hope I get the question right: Can I condition an animation on another gameObject other than my character?
What I am trying to obtain is:
a. Press a button
b. Getting my NPC (companion) run to given target(gameObject).
Thank you. Any help is welcomed. I do not mind if I receive links or tutorials to follow but I want a starting point for each action from this list.
