The animator doesn't inherit the RecoilID value from the vMeleeWeapon script.
Anyone having this issue?

I'm in the same boat.
The RecoilID of vMeleeWeapon is not available.
Currently, specify the recoilID in the attacker's animator.
Cannot set the defensive reaction (hitRecoil) for fists, swords, and shields.
In other words, defending with a shield will play the hitRecoil of the fist.
