How would I remove an item from the invntory after a GAction? You should be able to use the consume GAction. The example is the planting one where the character needs seeds to plant, once you have the seeds in your inventory then you can plant them and they are removed from your invrntory. hope this helps

While I'm here, lol, I can't seem to figure out where the gaction is getting the itemlistdata from?
Let's say I have the fishing gaction going, if the character walks up to the fishing spot with no pole it says "you need a vbow to fish" but if I add a fishing pole to the character inventory, then walk up to it, it works as intended and says" press e to start fishing.
I can't seem to figure out how to make it say you need a fishing pole instead of vbow if the character doesn't have the fishing pole in inventory.
Furthermore, I can't find an itemlistdata anywhere in the project that has the vbow at the right item number of the fishing pole that is in the itemlistdata on the character, so say the fishing pole is item number 15 on the character, I assume the gaction is looking for item number 15 when it says you need a vbow to fish. But no itemlistdata exists that has the vbow at item 15?
I hope this is a good enough explanation to get an answer lol.
ETA ok it was because I had deleted some items from my itemlist data... once i added enough items back to it so there were no missing item numbers everything is fine.

I made a simple add-on to add new generic action using scriptable object.. I'm using raycast to check if an action can be performed.. option to check if item is in inventory to perform action.. I set it up but the events are firing for some reason. What's the best way to debug it? I guess I should ask if it's supports the Shooter Template. Thanks much.
