neat update!! I wanted to do a similar thing for my rpg, by using it as a menu to select volumes along the story line. So that way I can update my game with new volumes, so the first rpg will be one game (selectable like a level) then the sequel will be volume two and selectable like another level. But It'd have to be integrated with Tharindu's quest addon, which might still be possible as I'm not looking to use the menu to load the savegames, just select the game to play and adjust settings/configs. Hmm, this might just work! This is so amazing to hear man! I would love to see it in action!!! :D

To be honest the RPG addon's save system is by default compatible with any system. All you need to pass is the save slot to load into my level loading scripts

What I envision the layers of the menu as being is Main Menu > Game (level) Select > Save Game Select. So only the last layer there needs to reference the quest add on save files, but I haven't started looking at how they work yet as to how to load them.

I believe that won't be difficult once understood properly which I know you will ;)

Mine's not really geared for a level based game. So a save slot in the quest addon is the actual game progress across a slot. Makes sense for an open world setting.

sorry tharindu that's not what i meant, the "level select" feature from Hamzah's menu system would be used in order to select the new game. Each of those games would have the quest system set up on them, however they will all be separate. So each of them will have save games. Think of it like half life 2, where they had episode 1 and 2, and whatever other ones they had, you go to the menu and you select with episode to play. upload my picturesthat's the basic flow, the only stopper i can see is if the quest system has issues with saving for two diff worlds in the one project, which may be the case.

Ohhhh I see what you mean. Well as of now looks like I support Game One Game Two and less of the content inside Game one etc etc. I think I can facilitate this and expose the API. You don't have to buy my plugin to make it work either then For perks I will think of a way to save the thumbnail and expose that so if you're displaying it I can draw up a texture.

Thanks everyone for your support! This level select system is added on REQUEST! I will soon be updating this post with the tutorial video as well! Edit : tutorial video In Next Update you can expect moving from one scene to another with Invector's Inventory items stored (also Requested). hamzah that was really fast and well done... Btw did you took a look at adding the level stats? Time played, enemys killed, secrets found.. and i would have another idea/suggestion.. A optional Countdown timer that counts from 01:00 Minute or a specified time down to 0, if player doesnt finish the level before time runs out, let him die and show a reload level and go back to menu gui. If player reaches / finishes the level before time runs out, show the level stats... Anyways whatever you decide to do it can only make your asset better, thx man!

Thanks That's crazy fast. Woo! And can't thank you enough for the save inventory. And the level manager looks wicked! This can used easily in all types of games, beat em ups, adventure you name it. I put one of my games on the back burner because I needed a proper menu system, and BAM hamzah saves the day. Not on that, but grade A asset like this, is super affordable, it's crazy. It's the only asset that gives you a A+++ Menu System to work with. Best asset I ever spent money on. For those who haven't purchased this asset yet. You won't be disappointed, this saves you a lot of time.

Hmm the timer thing and level end screen are very much template specific. Anyways I will try to add that separately with invector integration. So that it won't affect the other aspects of the menu and therefore people who don't have invector template still use the menu without any errors!! But since, I don't do this full time coz I have a job now I can't push these new features in this week. :( Hopefully by the end of next week you can expect this thing coming ;) ;)
