Hello all, I'm developing a horror Resident Evil type game and I need some help with it. I thought I would ask on here maybe might find it. I'm looking for an artist and a writer.
Story: Undermined Theme: Horror Setting: An abandoned hospital AI Type: Zombies
I wanted the game to be quite realistic when playing so I added a survival system that effects your character as you play. -The hunger bar will decrease your max health value as the hungrier you get and increase when full. -The thirst bar will decrease you movement speed value as the thirstier you get and increase when full. -Stamina is in short supply so conserving your stamina is best. When stamina bar is empty you can continue to sprint but doing so will cause your hunger and thirst to decrease at a faster rate.
Writers job: Designing the story line (position has been filled) Artists job: Creating in game items such as intractable objects, puzzles and traps. (still need an artist)
Little about me: I've been working with unity 3-4 years now, I'm quite versatile with unity but I'm best at coding.

AMAZING!!! Quick suggestion : Add a flashlight with the gun or on the player's clothing and add a battery factor with it similar to your hunger bar / thirst bar. And increase the lightning just a little bit... Thanks Allot! I was working on a body mount flash light but It didn't look so well, I was thinking of adding flares and torches in too. I really need to figure out the IK for the flashlight.

IK ? That's odd... have you tried making the flashlight child object of any spine bone of your character? that should just work fine i guess!!!

Thx Farhez, honestly it is just a template to show what the game will be like.
Yeah you need IK for the flashlight or it looks super cheep, I did try equipping it like a melee weapon and a shooter weapon, I really need an animation for it too.

Hey all just wanted to post an update, I decided to go with first person view thanks to Sjmtech, he made that part very easy for me as I've never attempted it. I just finished the first pass on my intractable game objects which Is really neat. Check check it!

I have an idea which would be a long shot but it can make investors go crazy...!!!! Can you make it VR like resident evil...? That will just take your game to whole new dimension

For VR I might probably move to UFPS and use Final IK with it. Using invector for tpc exclusively.

VR would be so cool. I loved resident evil VR so many times I screamed lol. I originally looked into UFPS but decided Invector would be a better suited template as I would have to code the AI ect.I'm gonna be releasing another video today about dismembering the zombies.

Well folks, I made a short clip of some zombie stomping fun. Zombies limbs can now be shot or cut off by melee or shooter damage. I also added a vertical aim for melee combat to better target limbs. The limbs are set to one hit wonders for now. Check check it.

I love the dismembering! We are using this with Studio New Punch Characters as well in our side project FPS game. The asset works really well in my opinion and adds that extra element to games.
